OUR BREAKFASTS are 100% plant based - that means we don't serve any meat, fish, dairy or eggs. We offer a buffet-style selection of cereals, fresh fruit, dairy-free yoghurt, and plant milks, freshly baked bread, muffins/pastries. Our delicious vegan cooked breakfasts are pre-ordered the evening before. All served with tea/coffee and toast. Please see the menu below:
KINGS REACH SPECIAL- A big plateful to fuel you up for the days adventures- Vegan rasher, vegan sausage, hash browns, baked beans, tofu scramble and mushrooms.
PANCAKE STACK- a pile of pillowy soft pancakes served with blueberries, sliced banana and chopped pecans, drizzled with maple syrup.

The Horseshoe Inn is a handy 5 minute walk away where they serve real ale and a selection of home cooked meals every evening. There is a patio area and children are welcome. There are always vegetarian options and they are happy to adapt dishes for vegans.
The Kilmartin Hotel is in Kilmartin village 4 miles north of here. They serve a selection of bar and restaurant meals. No vegan options at present. Pre-booking advisable.
Kilmartin Museum Cafe serve a selection of soups, main meals, tasty snacks and delicious homemade cakes. You can sit in the stone barn or conservatory with views over Kilmartin Glen. They always have vegetarian and vegan options.
Tayvallich cafe - always have vegan options. Beautiful location overlooking the harbour in the picturesque village of Tayvallich. Approx 10 miles from here, near to the Knapdale forest and crinan canal .
Cairnbaan Hotel - 5 minutes drive from here and situated by the crinan canal. Open to non-residents for lunches and evening meals and they are happy to offer vegan options. Booking is advisable.
The Tayvallich Inn - 20 minutes drive from here in the beautiful village of Tayvallich. Open every day for lunches and evening meals. They always have some vegan options on their main menu and specials board.
Stonefield Castle Hotel, Tarbert - located in a beautiful setting overlooking Loch Fyne, 22 minutes drive from here. Perfect if you want an extra special meal in a beautiful location. Open to non-residents for lunch and dinner, they are happy to cater for vegans if pre-booked. Tel:01880 820836
Loch View Grill, Dalavich - They always have vegan options on the menu. 35 minutes drive from here. Open Thursday- Sunday 6.30-9pm.
Catchacarrot vegan pop-up cafe - Seasonal 100% vegan pop-up cafe in Craignish village hall, Ardfern. Approx 20 minutes drive from here. Offering two course home-made vegan lunches and cakes. Open Thursday-Sunday 12-3pm over the summer. Highly recommended.
Wild Rowan Cafe, Dalavich - 35 minutes drive from here alongside Loch Awe, a shop and cafe which offers several vegan lunch options.
Salty Dog Cafe - Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead. Open for brunch, lunches, and home baking. During the summer they are open Friday and Saturday evenings 6.30-9pm for evening meals. They can do a vegan option if pre-booked. Tel:07497 003850
Smiddy Bistro - in Lochgilphead just off the main street. They serve coffee, tea, home made cakes and lunches. They usually have one or two vegan options on the menu and home made cakes.
Steamer Terminal, Ardrishaig - Located at the very beginning of the Crinan canal, offering tea/coffee, freshly baked cakes and light lunches. One vegan option on the menu and a vegan flapjack. Argyll's own mini Kelpies are located just outside.
